Steady Crackers Two Top Malts, permanently available from Mid May 2010!
Glen First Class This Whisky is from Speyside`s only family run distillery, famous and dearly beloved for their Whiskies maturing in Ex Sherry Butts. This was distilled in 2000 and shows the distillery`s strengths perfectly: Fruity notes of apples and oranges plus the typical Sherry markers like cherries, honey, coffee and chocolate.
Despite its young age the Whisky is fully mature and mouth-filling. The attractive colour makes it a visual pleasure as well and rounds up the excellent overall impression.
Bottled at a demanding drinking strength of 50 percent this Whisky is the perfect all day dram. And we make sure it will be available whenever you want a bottle: There`s more casks of this sensation maturing in MALTS OF SCOTLANDs warehouses.
Glen Peat Class Whiskies from three different Islay distilleries (two from the south coast, one from the island`s main town) guarantee maximum flavour in this bottling: Fruit, pepper, a fair bit of peat and coastal notes of seaweed, shells and salt team up for a perfect combination making this a treat for lovers of Islay Whiskies.
Maturing in a cask together for 17 years this bottling is the impressive proof that the sum is sometimes greater than its parts – even if the parts are first class in their own right.
Bottled at a demanding drinking strength of 50 percent this Whisky is a definite highlight even at Islay standards. And it`s an enduring one. Because MALTS OF SCOTLAND has more casks of this highlight maturing in their warehouses. So have a bottle now. Or later. Or both.
