Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made only of water, barley, and yeast and therefore impresses with its purity. Through the differences in the distillation process (e.g. by the shape of the stills) and the occasional use of peat, each Whisky develops its own taste and distillery character. The maturation in different casks (e.g. Bourbon, Sherry or Rum cask), the length of the maturation and the location where the casks are stored each influence the development of the Whisky and give every cask its own individual note.
MALTS OF SCOTLAND does not use colouring, we do not chill-filter and we do not dilute our bottlings with water. What you get is the purest flavour of Uisge Beatha, a real experience of art from Scotland’s best-loved distilleries. |
